NB. I also have another player named Voidcrusher, who is in one of the 10mfh safe houses, St. Elisabeth's hospital. i have spoken with Idiot Bot and Billy Malone, about an idea i have for 10mfh establishing a Malton News Radio Network. i just thought i'd mention it.

Apologies for having taken so long to get back to you. Truth be told, there's been a little debate going on behind the scenes since we first spotted you in Molebank and did a little digging. I'm a new member myself, and didn't want to respond until 10mfh's position had been made absolutely clear. My guess is that you're new to UD, so I'll explain carefully. First of all, you need to read Kevan's one rule. Do you see the problem?

Now, what you're doing with Drey and Void isn't technically zerging, because you don't have your characters sharing the same buildings, killing the same zombies, etc. Your characters aren't living completely separate existences – they're sharing information, which is known as multi-abuse, and most players consider it cheating. Why? Your reporters, and perhaps you have more than two, could easily become a reconnaissance network that make life impossible for those trying to escape you, monitor the positions of your enemies, etc – it's like you're using the NOCLIP cheat to see through the walls in Doom.

Malton news networks are a good thing, but if you don't want to be listed and hunted down as a zerger, you'll have to work it with players, not extra characters. You could also look at some of the other info networks: NecroWatch, CORAM, the journalists at BBC and C4NT, or take over the newspaper pages for groups like the CDF or DHPD (I think they both have them). You could even try starting your own group.

So, us. 10Mfh absolutely won't accept you if you continue operating this radio network with your own characters. I'm afraid that my question and Timothy's were lures – we were trying to figure you out. Bear in mind that if you separate from the other character and join us, we're not going to become your roving reporters – 10mfh protect Molebank, because that's what we do. We all think you're a good guy, and we definitely don't think that you're deliberately cheating – but we play hard and play well, and we definitely don't zerg.

In short, it's us or your other guy(s). Whaddya say?

Er...this a bad time? So anyway, I've got a question. 10mfh is permanently settled in Molebank, I know that much, but do any of you still go out to visit your friends/allies in another part of the city? Depending on your answer, I might actually consider joining you, only if you're okay with it, of course.

Some of us do in fact go off to visit/harass our friends and allies (Least from what I've seen/heard), and not just in times where river tactics are the smarter bet than trying to be a rock in a hard place.

Good answer. Usually, I have no problem staying in one place for a long period of time. However, I will occasionally feel like going out to explore the city, though I'm usually back less than a week later. Anyway, I've given it a lot of thought and decided that 10 mfh is the group for me!

Hi guys, Duragorr here. Helping 'Arry referred me to this website. Been playing UD for a bit now infact I still have one of the few survivors left in Monroeville. I would like to be a part of 10 MFH. Currently I'm at Fort Creedy trying to resupply and then get back to Molebank after I help take back the fort.

I don't know if anyone set you up yet, I've been off line for a while, but we're glad to see you've made it here and are thinking about joining the group. As soon as one of board admins check in we'll get you set up on our potential member section. You'll stay there until everyone has a chance to get to know you and interact with you in game. Since you've been around St. E's a bit already and well in the thick of it (did I mention you've got an impressive punch?) your probation period is likely to be brief.

Welcome Duragorr. Harry get's another gold star! Thanks for listening and for your interest. As soon as one of the senior team leaders check in we'll get you set up on our probation section. Typically people stay there for a while until we get a chance to know them (and they us) to make sure things will work out. Think of it as the 10mfh/UD version of a coffee date.

I too have to say I'm impressed that you have something still breathing in Monroeville. You must have some Ninja skills or something. If you don't mind a piece of advice about your Monroeville character, this board section is public access. You might want to move your alter ego away from there just to be safe. I don't think you're at a lot of risk, but still I'd hate to have you lose him/her after all this time....

Oh was never staying there, just thought it was strange that I found it on the same day I joined. There is a building there that was ruined for only a few weeks. I still haven't found any other survivors in the last few months.

Okay, i can see your point Billy. you are right, and it's actually something i never picked up. ie; i never realized that what i was doing. therefore, i am sending my alternate persona to the far corner of Malton, where he will be useless to me, and most likely die. for proof, you can send someone to the edge of Kempsterbank, and he will not hear any dual broadcasts.
I understand fully your suspicion, and also agree.
(I will also point out that the Coram building is in ruin, and CORAM is all but destroyed for now.)

I would like to add that my other profile is now about four suburbs away, in Hempster... no, not that, but is started with an H. he is headed for the far corner of Malton, he is a zombie, and the place he was transmitting from was trashed overnight. (not by me.)

Umm.. i just arrived at Molebank. what the f*** is going on? where is every one, and what is with all the zeds?
I couldn't find the radio transmitter, nor Lois, Billy Malone, Idiot bot, Helping 'arry, or any other of the high profile characters, and there are a couple of small zed clouds hanging around St elizabeths... i'm scared and confused, alone in this wasteland.

Oh, and one more thing, why has no-one logged on in ages?

It's 2 blocks north of Molebank in Chudlyeton (spelling might be off) Here is an important link if anyone wants to use it. It's for the Urban Dead Wiki map. It shares the mall with Darvall Heights, so it is on the far east side of Chudleyton, far west side of Darvall Heights.

I've been hiding out with the wonderful folk in St. Elizabeth's for a bit, and wouldn't mind having an official long-term place to hang my knitting needles. I don't kill anything, ever (zeds included), but spend all my energy healing the living, raising the dead, and keeping lots of chairs and tables between the two. After hearing some of the others in St. Liz talk about 10mfh, I decided to look into it, and, well, here I am, asking to join.

I'm not much of a forum user, but will try to check back here on occasion. See you in Malton!
